Three years of advantage in LCV accessories

Vehicle accessories manufacturer Best Bars is celebrating three years of successfully marketing its Advantage brand of products for light commercial vehicles.

The Advantage range can be obtained through many automotive outlets and new vehicle dealerships within New Zealand.

“When we introduced the Advantage brand our intention was to provide a reputable aftermarket option for customers to be able to purchase vehicle accessories for their new light commercial vehicle,” says Best Bars sales and marketing general manager John Frear.

The range covered by the Advantage brand includes selected tow bars and towing accessories, along with a variety of others products including stainless steel accessories such as nudge bars, rear bull bars, sports bars, side pipes and running boards, as well as alloy decks and cargo covers for utes.

All tow bars are designed specifically for the vehicle they are intended to be fitted to and undergo a rigorous testing regime on a rig, which is independently calibrated and certified, and duplicates the tremendous forces exerted on a tow bar.

Advantage tow bars are available for hundreds of non current model vehicles, as well as a number of those currently on sale, both New Zealand new and imported models.

Advantage stainless steel accessories cover most current model light commercial vehicles including utes and vans. These are designed to complement the styling and there is now the option of being able to order these products in highly polished stainless steel or black powder-coated finishes.

The Advantage range of alloy ute decks are designed to suit most of the current cab/chassis models available on the New Zealand market.

Ladder racks have always been popular on work-related light commercials and the Advantage range comprises a number of styles to suit various vehicles, including front-mounted to nudge bar, rear-mounted to corner protectors, as well as internal wellside ute removable racks.

Tonneau covers are another part of the Advantage line-up, with two options now available, a trifold configuration or the recently launched roll-up style.

The Advantage trifold tonneau cover has flexible, soft material over a sturdy extruded aluminium frame that can be folded back to allow room for tall items to be carried in the tray and no drilling is required for installation. The vehicle can also be driven while the cover is in the open position.

The new Advantage roll-up tonneau cover uses an alloy frame fixed to the top of the well-side tray with specially designed brackets to lock it into place, so no drilling is required for this product either. Removable ribs inside the cover keep it taut over the well-side tray and it’s very easy to unclip and roll back to allow access to the full cargo space.
