Walkinshaw Performance unleashes 450kW SS-V Superwagon

Aussie tuner Walkinshaw Performance has just revealed its latest special Holden, the SS-V Superwagon.

The Superwagon is based on an SS-V Special Edition Sportwagon. Walkinshaw have added a new exhaust, retuned the suspension and made some styling tweaks, but the big news is the addition of a supercharger.

Total power output is lifted by the WP 190 supercharger to 450kW, with a whopping 770Nm of torque. A water-to-air intercooler keeps things in check, and larger injectors supply the fuel demanded by the engine.

The Superwagon is riding on new springs and dampers that stiffen the ride, and 20-inch wheels and tyres fill up the guards.

Interior appointments include Walkinshaw-branded floormats and headrests, and a Rockford-Fosgate premium audio system.

Walkinshaw aren’t giving up the info on exact performance figures but are saying the Superwagon will get from zero to 100km/h in under five seconds.

Getting your hands on a Walkinshaw Sportswagon won’t come cheap with a cost of $43,990 AUS, that’s on top of the purchase cost of an SS-V Sportwagon base vehicle.

Walkinshaw is including a full driveline warranty into the cost of its parts, which matches the remaining time left on the donor vehicle’s new car warranty.

All the parts fitted to the Superwagon are also available individually, and can be applied to the full range of V8-powered VE sedans, utes and wagons, and also any HSV vehicles.
