VW launches Amarok Dark Label at Fieldays

Targeting both rural and urban buyers, Volkswagen New Zealand has launched a limited edition of its Amarok pick-up at the National Fieldays.

Only 100 units of the Amarok Dark Label double-cab pick up (equipped with 4Motion all-wheel-drive and an 8-speed automatic transmission) will be available through the national dealer network priced from $69,900.

Volkswagen New Zealand says the latest limited edition to grace the Amarok range offers a particularly sporty and design driven look.

The Amarok Dark Label rides on 18-inch exclusive black alloy wheels and features blackened tail-lights and exterior elements, as well as Dark Label graphics, a black sports bar and side rails, a non-slip tray liner and a silver front underbody guard.

The interior feature highlights include anthracite-colured Alcantara upholstery, a navigation unit with reversing camera and Climatronic air conditioning.

“It’s a very special model and we think will certainly be very sought after given the limited volume we will receive in New Zealand,” says Volkwagen New Zealand head of commercials Grant Doull.
