Volvo XC90 claims NBR Car of the Year

The Volvo XC90 has been awarded the National Business Reviews top Car of the Year award for 2015.

The Swede claimed the Supreme award, NBR motoring editor Cameron Officer noting: “The Volvo XC90 is a first class motor vehicle; a range of large, premium SUVs featuring the engineering prowess, future-proofed safety technologies and classic design elements that ensure they will remain remarkable for years to come.”

The BMW 7-Series was awarded Luxury award, while BMW also one Green Car of the Year with the I3.

Mazda claimed two nods, Sports Car with the MX-5 and Crossover with the CX-3.

Performance Car went to the Mercedes-AMG GT S.
