Video: Hacker builds own self-driving car

aaThink self driving cars is at the limit of technology, and the domain of engineering giants, and tech kings such as google?

A 26-year old American hacker has built his own, in his garage, in a month.

George Hotz was the first person to hack an iPhone, and has now turned his talents to retrofitting his Acura – basically a US market Honda Accord Euro – to self drive.

The amount of tech in the car is impressive, but the hardware is fairly basic, with a cheap vehicle diagnostic tool purchased online from China the gateway to the cars sensors and systems.
