Twist inside Citroen in Paris showroom

Citroen’s international showroom at number 42 on the Champs-Elysee in Paris, known as C_42, has added another unique feature for visitors.

It is a tubular slide known as “Twist inside Citroen” which takes guests from the top floor of the building to the basement in 15 seconds.

The 26-metre high and 63-metre long creation has been installed as part of Citroen’s “happy revolution” brand renewal programme, which also coincides with the launch of the new C1 light car and the C4 Cactus crossover, which is due to arrive in New Zealand in 2015.

Citroen says the brand renewal is focussed on the “new Citroen customer experience” or “feel good factor,” and that “Twist inside Citroen” is taking its brand values further with an original feel good experience available to all C_42 visitors.

The C_42 facility opened to the public in its current form in 2007, and it presents themed exhibitions presenting Citroens latest cars, and technologies, seven days a week from 10am to 8pm, with late night closing at 10pm from Thursday to Saturday.

On average more than 1.6 million people visit C_42 annually, and now members of the public can access the “Twist inside Citroen” slide for the admission price of 2 Euro.
