Toyota fires up quake-hit factories

Toyota says all of its quake-damaged Japanese factories would be back to full production between May 6-14.

The production lines halted by earthquakes earlier this month may be hit by parts supplies issues after May 14.

Toyota said that it would gauge supply consistency and then decide on which course of action it will take after the 14th.

All Toyota factories will be on a scheduled holiday break between April 29 and May 5, the company said in a statement.
