Suzuki owners still NZ’s most satisfied

suzuki-logoSuzuki has won the NZ ‘car manufacturer of the year’ for an impressive third consecutive year.

Roy Morgan Research announced Suzuki as the winner of its third annual Customer Satisfaction Award for ‘car manufacturer of the year’ at a gala dinner in Auckland on Thursday night.

Throughout 2013, Roy Morgan Research surveyed over 12,000 consumers across New Zealand. Based on these responses, each month Roy Morgan recognises the car manufacturer with the highest proportion of satisfied customers.

The 2013 outright winner was Suzuki – but Kia made some strong gains to be victorious in three consecutive months mid last year, setting the scene for a potentially closer race in 2014.

Pip Elliott, general manager, Roy Morgan Research NZ, says: “Now in its third year, these awards are becoming recognised as currency in the automotive industry, being the most accurate and trusted indicators of customer satisfaction in New Zealand.

“By integrating customer satisfaction measures with our world-leading ‘single source’ survey of over 12,000 Kiwis, we offer businesses incomparable research into just how satisfied their customers are, and areas where they could improve.

“Roy Morgan Research congratulates not only Suzuki, but all car makers, large and small, that consistently aim to satisfy their Kiwi customers.”
