Subaru updates XV

Subaru New Zealand’s Impreza-based XV crossover has been given a ‘freshen’ for the new year.

The model is available in three specifications – 2.0i ($37,990), 2.0i-L ($40,990) and 2.0i-S ($44,990).

The update sees all variants getting new 17-inch wheels, a new front grille and number, shark fin antenna, a black rear spoiler and clear rear lamps.

The 2.0i-L and 2.0i-S also add chrome door shoulder moulding.

There are two new colours – Dark Blue Pearl and Hyper Blue.

The 2.0i-L and 2.0i-S receive updated instruments, Siri compatibility and satellite navigation, while the 2.0i-S gets push button start and a smart key.

For a limited time the company is offering a Thule roof box with the car for $20.
