Rolls-Royce unveils opulent one-off Phantom Drophead Coupe

Rolls-Royce has built and presented its opulent one-off Phantom Drophead Coupe at the Masterpiece London exhibition this week.

With a design brief of the “perfect weekend get-away” the bespoke Phantom has some suitably lavish features including a one-of-a-kind Asprey jewellery box which is built into the glove compartment. Before the top gets dropped this removable jewellery box acts as a quick stash spot loose jewelery like cufflinks and earrings. Other unique detailing on the Roller include teak decking with mother-of-pearl inlays, embroidered R-R logos in headrests, engraved tread plates, special white instrument dials, rotary controllers and a clock finished in mother-of-pearl.

Torsten Müller-Ötvös, CEO of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars talked up the Coupe, “We are delighted to present this outstanding Rolls-Royce at Masterpiece London 2011, the craftsmanship and attention to detail shine through in features developed at Goodwood and in partnership with Asprey. It’s a model that demonstrates the breadth of our bespoke offering, where the only limit to what we can deliver is a client’s imagination.”
