Renault unveiling Alaskan one tonne pick up in Colombia

Renault has announced it will be unveiling its new one-tonne pick-up, the Alaskan, in Medellin, Colombia on the evening of June 30.

According to Renault, the Alaskan will be a high-end pick-up for business and leisure use, as well as for everyday motoring. It will capitalise on Renault’s crossover know-how with models such as the Captur and Kadjar.

Renault will host a live press conference on Twitter and Periscope from 5.30 pm Colombian local time, following by an exclusive unveiling on Facebook at 5.40 pm local time.

Starting at 6.30 pm Colombian local time will be the first ever screening of “Renault Live With” where Groupe Renault VP Design, Laurens van den Acker will take part in an interview about the new Alaskan.

The production version’s design will be similar in spirit to that of the Alaskan Concept and will feature the same dimensions, and a broad range of body types and powertrains will be available according to Renault.
