Peugeot history on show at museum

Car and SUV is on tour in France with Sime Darby Automobiles for the launch of the new Peugeot 308.

But we took a moment out to look at the brand’s past while in the town of Sochaux, the home of Peugeot’s design and engineering centre – as well at its biggest production plant.

‘L’Aventure Peugeot’ tells the history of the brand, from a beginning specialising in rolled steal – with products such as corsets and saw blades – through to its early motor vehicles, on to cutting edge concept cars.

The 80’s child within me revelled in the rally cars from that era and beyond.
