Online tour for Abarth factory

abarthGoogle Street View is increasingly taking its camera’s off road, and one of the first business’s to open its doors is Fiat’s Abarth division.

The result is the ‘Abarth Virtual Tour’ which is open to anyone with a computer and an internet link. It is a unique and immersive experience that discovers the Officine Abarth HQ in Turin.

Created by the copy agency, xister, and accessible from the official website or from Google Maps, the tour allows users to visit every nook and cranny of the Abarth HQ.

It starts off in the showroom – which displays historic models, racing cars and the new Abarth range – and then travels along corridors, amongst the heritage and the history of the brand, ending up in a charming reproduction of company founder Karl Abarth’s office.

The exploration continues to the heart of the factory – the workshop – where, virtual visitors will see the ramps with cars on where mechanics are at work, the various technical departments where the cars are assembled, along with the spray booth.
