Mazda puts name on X-Factor

news-8-dec2Mazda New Zealand has signed a deal to partner with top-rating entertainment show The X-Factor for next year’s season.

Mazda will be an integral part of the show by contributing to the series winner’s prize package, providing a brand new car to drive away.

The winner will also receive a recording contract with Sony Music Entertainment New Zealand.

MediaWorks Group head of revenue, Liz Fraser is pleased to welcome Mazda to the project and to be part of the team who will bring the highly-anticipated second series to Kiwi audiences in early 2015.

“It’s great news to have Mazda on board again for one of our premium shows. MediaWorks has a successful history with Mazda and we’re delighted to continue the relationship with them on The X Factor NZ, which will undoubtedly be one of the biggest television events of next year,” Fraser says.

Mazda New Zealand’s managing director, Andrew Clearwater, is enthusiastic about the deal.

“We believe our range of new-generation vehicles has that same ‘X Factor’ which has made Mazda a favourite with Kiwi motorists,” Clearwater says. “We look forward to being part of this search for excellence with a group of sponsors that share the same reputations for excellence and quality.”
