Maybach 57S Coupe revealed with crazy price tag

Maybach 57S Coupe revealed with crazy price tag

If you want a massive luxury coupe then Rolls Royce is the only place to shop. Now, that’s about to change as German coachbuilder Xenatec has mucked in with Maybach to design and produce the 57S Coupe, with the first production model recently unveiled.

Designed by Burch Fred Hardt, the same man who penned the Exelero concept, the coupe is unsurprisingly conservative in its styling and boasts a luxurious interior. As part of the conversion, Xenatec pushed the standard 57S B-pillar back 508mm and increased the curve of the roof by installing more rakish A- and C-pillars. Xenatec also fitted new side panels, fenders, bumpers and replaced four doors with two longer ones. But the mods end with the bodywork and the powertrain remains the existing 612-horsepower twin-turbo V12.

Optional extras include body armor, a glass roof and 21-inch alloy wheels. Production will be limited to 100 units and pricing starts at €675,000.
