ManheimFowles launch weekly budget car auction in Auckland

ManheimFowles Automotive Auctioneers in Auckland has launched a new weekly public auction, providing consumers with the opportunity to attend auctions featuring over 100 used vehicles, every Saturday starting at 12 noon.

With a large range of makes and models and no vehicles with a reserve price of more than $5,800, it’s an opportunity to pick up a cheap runabout at ManheimFowles’ Budget Car Auction.

Inspect the vehicles on offer from 9am each Saturday morning, with staff on hand to assist with any enquiries and answer any questions about how to bid and buy at the auction.

All vehicles are listed on the website in the lead up to the auction, with detailed information, condition reports, photographs and online-catalogues available for viewing. Potential buyers can use the ManheimFowles website to carry out research prior to attending one of the auctions.

Alan Roderick, General Manager of ManheimFowles New Zealand, said “We envisage between 100 to 150 vehicles being auctioned to the public every week. We are very excited about opening up our operations up to the public, and providing a great service to budget conscious buyers. With the auction including some ‘no reserve’ vehicles, there will also be something for even the tightest budget. All of the cars in the auction are independently inspected and finance is offered on-site for members of the public”.

As consignment only auctioneers, ManheimFowles do not own any of the vehicles they sell, meaning buyers can be sure they are bidding in a transparent environment, with all auctions conducted according to a strict code of conduct.

The inaugural ManheimFowles weekly public auction was held last Saturday October 17, with 50 cars selling and over 200 people in attendance.

ManheimFowles Auctions are located at 130 Kerrs Road, Wiri, Auckland.
