Loyal customers rewarded with last remaining Falcons

Kiwis’ love of the Ford Falcon has been truly evident in their snapping up of the last few cars on offer in the country.

In Australia, on the other hand, the model will still come off production lines until October, which marks the end of its 56-year run.

Of all the special final model Falcon Sprints, just a few G6E models remain for Kiwis, says Ford New Zealand managing director Simon Rutherford.

He says that “interested” loyal customers have been rewarded by dealers directly. marketing the coveted Sprint models to them in a process that has been carefully managed through the ‘runout’.

Territory will continue for some time, with production outlasting Falcon till later in the year, adds Rutherford. “We will have stock on hand to last until mid-2017,” he concludes.
