Lee Noble working on new 650hp supercar

Noble Automotive Ltd, usually referred to as simply Noble, is a British sports car maker originally established by Lee Noble back in 1999. The company’s lineup has consisted of a series of high-performance mid-engined sports cars and is about to gain a new addition in the form of the 650-horsepower M600 on sale next year.

Lee Noble, sold the company in August of 2006 and eventually retired back in February of last year. But Noble isn’t one for just sitting back and has since revealed plans for a new two-seater mid-engined sports car, also with 650-horsepower, that’s due to go on sale next year and cost around £100,000.

Noble is working on the latest project in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, and is using many of the same crew that helped build the previous Noble M12 sports car. Details are scarce about the new car and the brand that it will be sold under, however it’s known that it will run on gasoline and feature double wishbone suspension with steel brakes and a spaceframe chassis.

Other details include a 1,200kg curb weight, a 0-100 kph time of less than 3.5 seconds and a production forecast of just 100 units.
