Kiwi celeb auctions S 60 for Cure Kids

Veitch_Volvo-S60Kiwi sports reporter, Tony Veitch, is auctioning his custom Volvo S60 T6 R-design sports car – worth $65,000 – on TradeMe as he upgrades to a 2014 Volvo S60 T6 – with anything over $50,000 going to the Cure Kids Charity.

The auction closes this Saturday, July 12. The S60 is available to view at Archibald and Shorter, 572 Great South Road in Auckland.

The Volvo-designed performance car shows performance figures of 0-60 in 5.7 seconds from the 3000cc 6 cylinder polestar optimised 242kW engine, limited to 250km/h.

The S60 includes; side skirts, Heico quad exhaust, tinted windows, BLIS and adaptive cruise control.

Veitch says: “The S60 R-Design is an amazing car that I’ve truly loved driving, its performance is awesome. I’m going to miss it so I hope it goes to a good home and we manage to raise loads of money for Cure Kids”.

• 2 corporate hospitality packages to the Wellington Sevens in February 2015.
• 2 bronze tickets to the Auckland NRL Nines in 2015, This package comes with a match ball signed by all 16 club captains.

• 2 corporate hospitality tickets to your choice of a Blues home match in 2015. Courtesy of the Experience Group worth $630.

• 2 premium tickets to all remaining Warriors home games for season 2014. A signed Warriors jersey and a signed match ball by the player of your choice.

• A Taylormade set of golf clubs.
• A Barkers voucher worth $1000.
* A TAB betting voucher worth $500.

• 2 Olympic watches for him and for her.
• 2 corporate hospitality packages to the Pukekohe V8’s in 2015. Plus a meet and greet with Kiwi Volvo driver Scott Mclaughlin.
