Honda Pegasus design concept born from old inspiration

Automotive study designs are often pretty cool, but usually they are based on mere speculation and fiction. But for independent designer Andrus Ciprian from Romania, inspiration came from Harley Earls’ legendary GM Firebird concept cars of the 1950s. But Ciprian didn’t want to work on GM products and instead devoted himself to penning a futuristic Honda racing car that he named Pegasus.

According to the Romanian designer the Pegasus would be powered by a small gas-turbine jet engine, while other features include specially designed wheels that increase air-flow to the brakes.
