New hero Colorado model at dealerships.

A new hero model for the Holden Colorado pick-up range called the Z71 is now arriving in New Zealand dealerships.

The Colorado Z71 adds more content to the model year 2016 Colorado LTZ 4×4 double cab pick up to create a competitor for the Ford Ranger Wildtrak and the limited edition Volkswagen Amarok Black Label.

Holden general manager marketing Marnie Samphier says there is huge demand for such high specification “tricked up” trucks and the Z71 is a new and permanent addition to the 4×4 Colorado pick up range.

The Colorado Z71 was first unveiled at the second game of the Holden State of Origin Series at the Melbourne Cricket
Ground in Australia on June 17.

The Z71 manual transmission model retails from $63,990 plus on road costs and the Z71 automatic transmission model retails from $65,900 plus on road costs

Key exterior upgrades take the form of 18-inch Arsenal Grey (gun metal) alloy wheels, sail plane and styled nudge bar, as well as a selection of black design content.

Inside leather upholstery and heated front seats, are added to an interior already equipped with rear view camera, acoustic package and Mylink infotainment system with seven-inch colour touch screen.

The Colorado Z71 features the following:†18” Arsenal Grey Metallic alloy wheels (x5), sail plane with Z71 graphic (body coloured), Leather seats (heated front), styled nudge bar, headlamps with dark chrome mask, gloss black mirror scalps and B-pillars, gloss black tailgate handle, black door handles, black rear step trim, Z71 tailgate decal, black body side door mouldings, black hood with Z71 graphic, streamline soft tonneau – (hard tonneau optional), and roof rails.

It is available in five colours, being summit white, sizzle red, black sapphire, satin steel grey, and orange rock.

The Colorado Z71 is now available at all Holden dealers throughout New Zealand.
