Ford Focus RS gets the blues

Ford Focus RS fq

The most popular car colour in Europe is officially black, but the new Focus RS isn’t one for conforming to the masses. Until today we’ve only seen images of the car in a bright, almost Kermit-like green colour, but now thanks to an English motoring magazine, we have a gallery’s worth of new images that shows off the fastest Ford ever produced for Europe. In the next few days the official performance specs and pricing will be released from Ford, but it has let slip the new RS will reach 62 mph in 5.9 seconds. That may not sound so fast for a car brandishing a 296bhp turbocharged five-cylinder engine, but European Fords are famous for their balanced handling over brutal straight-line speed. Should be a very exciting vehicle.

Check back for more info on the Focus RS, until then check it out in Ford blue in the gallery.
