Fiat Chrysler gets its Rebel on at SEMA

Fiat Chrysler has unveiled a customised RAM Truck utilising its Mopar accessories range at SEMA 2015, the world’s largest automotive speciality products trade show held in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Fiat Chrysler will display a range of customised vehicles at its Mopar SEMA display. In addition, hundreds of Mopar products from engines to wheels to lift kits will also be showcased to the trade.

Based on a Ram 1500 full-size pick up truck, the RAM Rebel X concept displayed at SEMA 2015 has been fitted out with production parts and accessories from the Mopar catalogue says Fiat Chrysler.

The unique dark Copper exterior extends to the functional sport performance hood, accented with a Matte Black graphic trimmed with a Mopar Blue tracer.

Mopar wheel flares extend over the 35-inch Toyo tyres, which wrap around 17-inch cast-aluminium bead-lock wheels that equip the 1500 Rebel for rumbles over off-road terrain.

Painted functional bead-lock rings with fasteners are also featured on the bead-lock wheels, with Mopar centre caps providing another highlight to the rims.

The front features the Rebel grille with the RAM logo painted in Satin Black and a concept two-piece skid plate. The cargo bed is secured with a soft tri-fold tonneau cover, and a Mopar dual exhaust bed step helps people to reach tools or equipment stored in the rear.

Black tubular side steps provide a lift into the interior, which features prototype Katzkin leather seats embroidered with the Rebel X name outlined in silver in a black field, with a blue field for the “X.”

Copper stitching accents the armrest and steering wheel. Additional features inside include all-weather slush mats, a pedal kit and door sills.

The RAM Rebel X, is powered by a 5.7-litre V8 HEMI engine, which has also been tuned up for additional performance.

A Mopar cold-air intake, cat-back exhaust and exhaust tips, fed by an active RAM Air duct, enhance the performance capabilities of the V8 engine, with a concept air ride suspension smoothing out the ride says Fiat Chrysler.
