The arrival of two new engine options for the BMW X5 sports activity vehicle should broaden its appeal says the New Zealand distributor.

Since launch of the new model six months ago, the X5 has dominated the segment and the debut of a new four-cylinder turbo diesel 25d and a new six-cylinder turbo diesel 40d will add to its sales success says BMW Group New Zealand.

“Not all people require the power, performance and towing capability offered by the triple turbo charged M50d, so the new 25d will be the perfect large sport activity vehicle for them,” said the Managing Director of BMW New Zealand, Nina Englert.

“It still retains the new look, a large interior, and dynamic exterior appearance as well as new technology, but features a drive away price from only $112,500 which makes entry to the BMW X5 range more accessible than ever before.”
