AMS Performance have built a reputation as specialists in modifying EVOs, but they also have an interest in other Japanese models. The latest tuning package is the AMS Nissan GT-R SR850 which packs 633 kW under the bonnet of Godzilla.

The reworked GT-R features some major engine mods including custom 90 mm cat-less downpipes, resonated mid-pipe and exhaust system, upgraded ball bearing turbochargers and custom wastegate actuators. The intercooler has been modified with 76 mm intercooler piping with HKS blow off valves and high-flow intake piping with K&N air filters. The AMS GT-R SR850 also comes with upgraded fuel injectors, fuel system upgrade, a Cobb AccessPORT tuning system and a re-calibrated ECU.

AMS recently tested the GT-R SR850 at the TX2K10 Supra & GTR Nationals event in Houston Texas where it ran the quater mile in 9.89 seconds at 233.56 km/h.
