White cars: does my backside look enormous in this?

White cars: does my backside look enormous in this?

It’s got to be a special car to be able to pull off white as the most desirable colour, and maybe this is why we very rarely get white press cars. In fact, I can’t think of another white press car that I’ve driven. Women are always complaining that wearing white makes their posterior look enormous, and perhaps that’s why: any car manufacturer wouldn’t want their car to look like it’s packing on the pounds around the hips. Also, photographers hate cars that get dirty easily, and with white the non-colour-coded bits of the car stick out like a tattooed baby at a christening. Does the Golf pull it off, though? You’ll have to judge for yourself.
