Mini Cooper S + sunny day = heaven

I love sunny days, and I especially love sunny days when I’ve got a really great car to drive. That car was the Mini Cooper S. It has enough poke to spin the tyres in second as the turbocharger winds up, and it brakes and handles like a racing car. I took it on my ‘special’ test route – the one I reserve only for cars that something extra special and I came back with a smile on my face.

The only thing I didn’t like about it was the annoying click-less indicator stalks, but I got used to them in the end, and it really is a minor thing. The Cooper S may have even entered the hallowed Cottingham’s Top Ten list at around number 9…I’ll have to work that out properly, though!

I’ll have a full write up on the site within a couple of weeks. Stay tuned.
