Bye bye Peugeot 207, hello Suzuki Swift Sport

We picked up a brand spankers Suzuki Swift Sport today with only 11kms on the clock  – nowhere near worn in, so we can’t really fang it in the interests of science (unless the interests of science include smelling burning components in the engine bay).

We also dropped back the Peugeot 207 GTI. It’s a fun little car – highly impractical, but fun. With 175HP it’s got a reasonable amount of poke, rock hard suspension meant it turned in sharply (while jiggling your flabby bits), and the brakes were extremely capable.

Back to the Swift, though. First impressions are very good. The clutch is a bit tricky to start with, and tall people might find it difficult finding the perfect driving position, but for the money it seems like a bargain
